Local Airports
For participants traveling by air, there are several airports approximately 100 km away from Ljubljana:
- Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU): Slovenia’s international airport, located just 26 kilometers from the city center, offering direct connections to major European cities.
- Trieste Airport (TRS): Located in Italy, about 120 km from Ljubljana. The airport serves international flights to various cities.
- Zagreb Airport (ZAG): Approximately 140 km from Ljubljana, in neighboring Croatia, with an array of international flights.
- Graz Airport (GRZ): Another feasible option in Austria, at approximately 187 km from Ljubljana. It serves both domestic and international flights.
Upon arrival, you can use public bus, rent a car or use shuttle services available at these airports. It’s advisable to book your shuttle service in advance for a smooth transition.

City Transport
Ljubljana’s public transportation system, managed by Ljubljanski potniški promet (LPP), is efficient and user-friendly. City buses will be free for all conference participants (HAVING A CONFERENCE TAG), providing easy access to various parts of the city.
Bike-share Systems
Ljubljana promotes green transportation with two excellent bike-sharing systems: BicikeLJ and Nomago Bikes. Both services are available 24/7 throughout the city.
- BicikeLJ: This self-service bike rental system is a convenient way to navigate the city. You can register online or at one of the BicikeLJ kiosks. The first hour of use is always free. Check out BicikeLJ.

Parking
If you’re arriving by car, we recommend using the P+R Stožice parking facility, which is within walking distance (1.6 km) of the conference venue. The parking fee is 1.3 EUR per day, payable at the Urbana card machine. Google Maps
